Warranty Policy
Every component sold by Precision International and/or its nominated distributors is, unless stated otherwise*, subject to a warranty period of 12 months or 20,000 kilometers whichever shall occur first.
*Holley, Flowtech, Hooker, NOS and Weiand products are subject to a 90 day warranty.
*FiTech is subject to a 3 year warranty.
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all components as supplied are correct in respect to configuration in comparison to the item being replaced, not altered from the original manufacturer’s dimensions and/or damaged prior to fitment.
Subject to the above, all alleged faulty components must be returned to Precision International at the address shown on the invoice at the consumer’s expense for inspection by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will report on any specification or manufacturing faults. This report will not be an engine failure diagnosis report.
Precision may charge you to recover freight costs if no manufacturing fault is found.
The obligation and expense of Precision International under this warranty is limited to the replacement of defective components and/or reimbursement at our own discretion.
No liability will be attached to Precision International for any demurrage, loss of profits and/or any other loss, damage or expense arising out of any defect from supplied componentry.
No liability will be attached to Precision International for any possible calculation errors that may be found in its calculation tools.
Precision International’s obligations under this warranty shall cease if the supplied component is:
- Altered and/or modified in any way from its supplied dimensions.
- Damaged in any way by abuse, incorrect fitting procedures, operated in an environment not suitable for the requirements of that component, lack of preventative maintenance and/or continued to be operated after the same component is known to be defective.
- Used in any performance or modified engine applications including but not limited to street, strip (drag), circuit and marine environments.
Prior to any suggested warranty work being under taken, Precision International must be notified of the alleged defective component problem.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
